Dr. Victoria N. Flores, MD

Having grown up in a strong female family, I decided early that I wanted to care for women and children. Studying natural sciences and biological sciences came naturally to me, and I was blessed with early exposure to medicine through my parents, who also work in the field of medical sciences.

A flower-child at heart, my friends will tell you that I have been a practitioner of herbal medicine since my adolescence. I started with classes in Herbology while at U.C. Santa Cruz in undergrad. Santa Cruz has a robust culture of Eastern medical philosophy, and with this exposure it did not take long for for me to decide that I wanted to be a healer for life. Thus began my journey towards becoming a doctor, and by this time I already knew that I wanted to deliver babies in the home environment.

I graduated with a B.S. degree in neurobiology and behavioral science from the University of California, Irvine and then attended medical school at the University of Southern California. I went on to study obstetrics and gynecology with an internship and residency training at Kern Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center, and now I have a private practice in Redlands, CA.

Blending Eastern and Western health care theories is my specialty, and delivering babies is my calling. I have a wonderful husband who also practices medicine and herbology in the Inland Empire, which is also where my extended family resides. We are a family for the people, and believe that your health care is about what fulfills you. You should be healthier with every encounter, and that is my goal for you.

Stay Safe. Stay Home.

Stay Safe. Stay Home.

Perhaps you have heard of Dr. Stu Fischbein MD, a wise and talented obstetrician that has helped many women avoid unnecessary cesarean sections via the practice of home birth, and is the champion for “Reteach Breech”. I collaborate with Dr. Stu for additional advanced services not listed on this website, including external cephalic versions, breech, and twin deliveries. I live in Redlands and provide my services to those within a 1 hour radius. Just to help you get to know me, I’ll let you known that I am known for my warmth and compassion, down-to-earth and relaxed demeanor. Some may call it casual. I speak Spanish, and often draw on my Native American and Mexican heritage for inspiration in care. I am the only female physician that attends home births, and I strive to provide the best care possible for you if home birth is your choice.
